VON DOREN
Automatisk Kronograf

The Von Doren Il Tempo Gigante Automatisk Kronograf is inspired by Theodore Rimspoke's car
"Il Tempo Gigante" from the legendary Norwegian stop-motion film "Pinchcliffe Grand Prix" (1975).
Il Tempo Gigante Automatisk Kronograf has a case in brushed and polished stainless steel, the watch's second hand is based on a radar display, and the chronograph second hand is fitted with a crosshair.
The movement, (i.e. the engine, editor's note), is a La Joux-Perret Top Grade Caliber L112 automatic movement. The hands and the chapter ring is equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 to ensure great readability at all hours.
With this watch you can dive down to 50 meters, provided that you can also dive down to 50 meters without the watch.
Il Tempo Gigante Automatisk Kronograf is available in two color variants, black and brown, and comes in a custom oak wooden box designed in true Theodore Rimspoke style.
This watch is manufactured in cooperation with The Aukrust Foundation and a portion of the sales is going towards preserving Kjell Aukrust's art for future generations.

"The new limited edition Von Doren Il Tempo Gigante combines a handsomely balanced and refined base chronograph design with punchy, colorful embellishments and an impressively solid movement to create a cheerfully offbeat Scandinavian challenger to the classic racing chronograph pantheon."
