Von Doren is celebrating 5 years! To mark the occasion we will be introducing our IT’S TIME campaign.
During the past years, due to the pandemic, the subject of time has never been so relevant. For many of us, time stopped and also brought an array of emotions. We want to celebrate the element of time and highlight all the wonderful moments life has to bring. We will start sharing interviews of what time means with the intent to inspire, reflect and bring joy. IT'S TIME to Celebrate!

As a part of the IT'S TIME campaign we asked our ambassadors the following questions:

Sergej Karjakin
• If time travel was real, which historical period would you visit?
To a historical chess match like Capablanca vs Alekhine, in Buenos Aires 1927.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
Probably my wife!
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
I would go to a restaurant and enjoy a good meal.

• If time travel was real, which historical period would you visit?
I would go back to 1896 to experience the first Olympic Games of modern time.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
As an Ambassador it would have to be a Von Doren watch to show them the good things coming in the future.
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
I would spend that extra hour kitesurfing.
Arne Beck
• If time travel was real, which historical period would you visit?
I would go back to the time of the dinosaurs for the ultimate visual kick! A world full of life unaffected by human influences and time.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
I would bring my camera, of course!
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
I would spend that hour with family and good friends.

• If time travel was real, which historical period would you visit?
I would go back to 1950 to experience the first F1 Grand Prix races like Monaco, Spa and Monza.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
The new Porsche GT3 Cup car to test the race tracks from that time. And my URÆD watch, I would probably need that.
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
I would spend that hour with friends and family.

• If time travel was real, which historical period would you visit?
It is theoretically impossible to travel forward in time, but possible to travel backwards. I would love to see the dinosaurs, but I choose to spend a summer at the plains with the Comanche tribe around year 1760. After they got horses, but before they were persecuted and forcefully relocated.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
A good hunting rifle with ammunition.
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
Exercising. Or sleeping.

• If time travel was real, which historical period would you visit?
I would travel to France in 1945 when they celebrated the end of WWII.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
I think I would bring my laptop.
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
I would spend that extra hour watching a TV series.

I would visit the early 1800's and St. Petersburg before the revolution and experience the atmosphere and everything described by the authors.
• If you could bring only one item to said period, what would you bring?
I would bring my Harley Davidson with off-road tires.
• If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
I would spend that hour with my loved ones.

I would travel to Venezia in 1501 and meet Leonardo da Vinci.

I would bring my URÆD with serial number 001 and show it to Leonardo.

I would spend that hour painting and drawing.
